Answer: My Nokia is a free service for Nokia owners, which helps you to get the most out of your Nokia.
Question 2: What will I get with My Nokia?
Answer: By registering for My Nokia you can receive regular communications that include tips & tricks specific to your phone, great offers, competitions and more. You can choose how you receive these communications, directly to your phone and/or via email. You will also be able to log-in to your own personalized My Nokia web page. You will also receive information on new device models through My Nokia.
Question 3: What is Nokia Account?
Answer: Forget multiple passwords and usernames. With your Nokia Account, you simply need one user name and password to access a range of Nokia’s services, like Ovi and My Nokia.

Question 4: Can I upgrade My Nokia account into Nokia Account or vice versa?
Answer: Yes you can. If you have joined My Nokia already or you have a separate Nokia Account, you can sign-in with your username or mobile phone number.
Question 5: How can I register for My Nokia?
Answer: As a Nokia owner, you can register for My Nokia at your local nokia.com page under the My Nokia section. This program is currently available in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, Thailand and Vietnam for Nokia owners.
Question 6: Does registering for My Nokia cost anything?
Answer: My Nokia is a free service and there is no cost to register through the web site. If you register via SMS, then the cost for you will be 1 SMS (according to your local operator tariff). Registration via SMS is currently only available in Malaysia, Indonesia, India and the Philippines. Some messages request that you send a reply via your mobile. If you reply via SMS, then the cost for you will be the 1 SMS (according to your local operator tariff).
Question 7: Can I join My Nokia if I am under 13?
Answer: You need to be of a certain age limit (which differs from country to country) to register for My Nokia. The age limit for Malaysia is 13
Question 8: How will Nokia contact me when I have registered for "My Nokia"?
Answer: This will depend on how you joined My Nokia. On the My Nokia web page you can choose to sign up for My Nokia communications to your mobile and/or via email. By registering through your phone (where available) you are only signing up for mobile communications. (Mobile communication includes also wap push, not only SMS.)
Question 9: Can I register or sign-in to My Nokia, if I don't have a Nokia phone, but I have for example a D211, an observation camera or a 770 Internet tablet?
Answer: You can register to My Nokia if you own any Nokia phones. However, the tips and tricks sign-in is available only to selected phone models. Please, refer to your local My Nokia web site login page to find out more about what is offered in your country for your Nokia model.
Question 10: I have a Nokia device. Why can't I sign up for "My Nokia" Tips & tricks?
Answer: If your local nokia.com web site lists My Nokia on the homepage, then My Nokia is available in your country and you can register to My Nokia and start receiving tips and tricks messages. However, at the moment, My Nokia tips and tricks sign up may not cover all phone models in your country.
Question 11: I have registered for My Nokia. Why don't I get information from My Nokia?
Answer: Once you have logged in to your personalized My Nokia webpages, please check your mobile phone number and/or email address under My Nokia profile. If these are correct, check that you have selected at least one of the communications channels: SMS and/or email. Question 12: I have bought a new Nokia device. Do I need to update the information in My Nokia profile?
Answer: Yes. You can update your information on your My Nokia web site by logging in. When you have updated your phone information, you will get the full benefits out of My Nokia as communications that will be sent to you will be relevant and targeted to the new Nokia device that you have just purchased.
Question 13: How should I update my profile in "My Nokia" - new device model, email address or new mobile number?
Answer: As members of My Nokia, you can currently only update your profile online on the My Nokia website. Login to My Nokia to update your information in My Profile section.
Question 14: How can I opt out of receiving communications from "My Nokia"?
Answer: You can opt out of receiving communications from My Nokia at any time. The easiest way is to login to My Nokia - your "My Profile" section. There you can choose to opt out of receiving communications. Alternatively, you can click on the unsubscription link on the email that you have received from My Nokia to unsubscribe from our email communications. To unsubscribe from our SMS communications, just send the text "mynokia optout" to your My Nokia local number 32424.
Question 15: What is the My Nokia web site/mobile site address?
Answer: My Nokia Malaysia website address is www.nokia.com.my/mynokia. My Nokia in Malaysia does not yet have a WAP site.
Question 16: Do I have to register to access My Nokia web pages?
Answer: Yes, you need to register to My Nokia. The content on My Nokia pages is personalized and can be accessed after signing in to the service.

Answer: Yes. My Nokia has been launched through out the world during 2008. Currently My Nokia is available in 44 countries.

Question 19: Can the consumer get My Nokia from Care Points?
Answer: For the time being the Care Points only answers to basic questions about My Nokia.

Question 20: When I turned on my new phone for the first time, it asked me to accept something. What was that all about?
Answer: That was an invitation to join the My Nokia service, which provides free tips and tricks on how to use your handset more easily.
Question 21: If I join My Nokia by accepting the question on my device screen, what information about me will Nokia get?
Answer: Nokia will get your phone number, handset’s serial number & model, and information on operator, country and language, as well as your permission for Nokia to send SMS messages to you. No personal data will be collected.
Question 22: I have rejected the "Join My Nokia now" question on my handset twice. Can I still sign in to My Nokia via my mobile?
Answer: You can sign in to My Nokia via your mobile by using the My Nokia application, which is available in your handset’s Applications folder.
Question 23: I have an icon on my handset menu that says My Nokia. What is it?
Answer: It is an application that enables you to sign in to My Nokia via your mobile device, and it is also possible to unsubscribe from My Nokia using the same application.

Question 26: If I am already a My Nokia member, do I have to register again for My Nokia Backup?
